Silence
In the Autumn of 2017 the Eagle Creek fire ripped through the Columbia River Gorge, scorching many beloved locations. One of those was Angel's Rest. This photo was from my first hike in this location after authorities opened it back up. It was a somber experience witnessing the damage first hand. But even though much of area was devastated it was still quite beautiful. In this photo, that is what I'm trying to convey. Even as this tree lost its life in the fire, its still beautiful.
